The New Year has been non-stop since we moved into 1302 Washington. We have experienced continual growth since our first service on January 11, 2009! Since our switch to Sunday mornings in our new facility, we have consistently had new visitors join us both from our people inviting their friends and family, and also people from the neighborhood surrounding our facility. God has been answering our prayers in providing families to partner with us on our mission.

Another exciting area of ministry in our budding congregation is our ministry to the college students at Blinn College. What began as a small Bible study (2 students) in the dorm on the campus of Blinn, is now currently meeting at 1302 Washington on Tuesday evenings and is growing weekly. We recently had 36 college students gather to worship through song and studying through the book of James. There are several new visitors every week. This group began this school year with 8 students, the New Year with 20, and has been rapidly increasing every week.

Our small groups have transitioned from meeting in homes to meeting at our facility on Wednesday evenings. This affords parents with small children to have access to childcare, and for parents with teenagers to be involved in a small group. The student ministry is growing nicely as Pastor Justin disciples the students through the book of Proverbs. As our community continues to grow, we will continue to offer new environments for spiritual growth and discipleship.

As time goes by, God continues to amaze us with new opportunities to fulfill our purpose statement of Proclamation, Service, and Community. We thank you for your support and covet your continued prayers.
